exchange migration - system folders replication problem

Tags: exchange, 2003, data, folder, system
Win2k AD
Exchange 2000 -> exchange 2003 migration on new hardware.

I got a little ahead of myself and moved the mailboxes before I moved the public folders and system folders over to the new machine. Everything is working fine though.
I followed the steps in the artlicle http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;307917&Product=exch2k
and my public folders have replicated properly. The system folders, however, have a hard time replicating.
When I try to replicate the offline address book I get IN SYNC in the public folders on the new exchange, but the replication status on the new machine and the old machine shows Local Data modified.
How long it normally takes for the replication of the system folders?
Do I have to do the system folder replication one by one (ie. offline address book first then offline address list etc or I can just start the replication for all of them at the same time?
I can keep the old exchange live for as long as needed.

Thanks
Tiby
