Active Directory - Exchange Extension Error in Win2003 SBS. Error c0070002
I've found a suggested fix is running Exchange 2003 SP1. I downloaded the SP and extracted - went to the i386 folder and tried running the Update file.
I get an error that says to check the eventlog. Nothing much helpful there unfortunately.
Any suggestions very welcome

When I try run the SBS SP, I get an error that I must first install Exchange 2003 SP1.
Are you sure that it said to look in the event log and not the update log file? There should be a log of the service pack installation attempt - probably in the root of C: that will tell you what has gone wrong.
Don't post the entire log here if you aren't sure. Look for failures only. Entire logs are not normally read and ignored by most people.

Thanks for you help Simon. It was the event log alright.
I've managed to resolve my issues. Though I'm not sure exactly what the problem was. I created and alternate domain admins account and logged in with that. All of my problems seem to have gone away.
I could spend time mulling it over trying to figure out why it went like that. But right now I don't care. Thanks for you help.

Also Exchange SP1 is quite old, we have been on Service Pack 2 since last summer. However you need to update SBS first.
