No, it's not in cached mode. I ended up deleting and resetting up his profile and that made the change.
Main Topics
Browse All TopicsI have a Windows 2003 server running Exchange 2003. I was informed that an user's name was spelled wrong. So, I went into Active Directory and made the change. It shows up in the Global Addressbook correctly now. But when I send a test message from the user's account, in the from field, it still shows the old spelling. If I do a Global Address lookup, it shows spelled correctly. But if I go to his station and look in outlook, it shows his name spelled wrong in the mailbox.
How do I change this?

If you are using Outlook 2003 in cached mode then this is not unusual. Cached mode uses the Offline Address Book that is only updated once a day by default. While you can decrease the time between OAB regeneration you cannot change the time between downloads from Outlook.
