How do I rename the /O= ? for a Event ID: 1088

Asked by metlogistics in Exchange Email Server

Tags: rename, 1088, event

I have almost made a complete recovery of an Exchange Server 2003 from just the .edb and .stm files.  The only error I have left yet to solve is event ID 1088.  I have already fixed corrupted database, defragged, and did integrity check the database.  However, still can't mount the mail store because the “/O= “ is different how do I rename the “/O=” ?

Event ID Error: 1088
"The information store could not be loaded because the distinguished name [DN] /O= XXY  /OU= FIRST ADMINISTRATIVE GROUP /CN=RECIPIENTS /CN= of message database "Recovery Storage Group\Mailbox Store" does not match the DN of the directory /O= FIRST ORGANIZATION /OU=FIRST ADMINISTRATVIE GROUP /CN=RECIPIENTS /CN=

The database may have been restored to a computer that is in an organization or site different then the original database."
