HUGE 4GB Mailbox Solutions

President of the Company and the COO have 4GB mailboxes.

Outlook is noticeably sluggish.  They are not desiring to delete emails.  I am afraid of archiving as they won't know how to access the old emails.

I need a creative solution for dealing with this problem?  I am thinking a manual archive and burning it to a disk for backup.

Exchange 2000, Outlook 2003 (WAS in cached mode, eek)!
