How do you send an email using exchange to a member of the domain that doesn't use exchange / outside email hosting co.

Asked by Techsupportwhiz in Exchange Email Server

domain a.com is hosted by an web / email hosting company for all the email accounts in the domain.  Using pop3 connector in sbs2003, all except 1 user (me@a.com)  mail is retrieved by exchange.  That person's mail is forwarded to another domain email address (me@b.com) by the outside email host and they check the webmail of b.com for the emails...

yes, I know about OWA and the other users are using it.  But this person is using webmail with the outside host to send / receive.

things are OK, except that when anyone in the office tries to send to me@a.com, I think it is staying inhouse and trying to be routed to that mailbox in exchange (because that's our domain).  but she doesn't have a mailbox or sbs account.  so it bounces.  how do we deal with this - tell exchange that mail for me@a.com needs to go to the outside web hosting mx record (that is the only mx record - the outside hosting company's server).

thanks!
