No free/busy info - Exchange 2007 + Outlook 2003

Recently upgraded entire organization to Exchange 2007 (from '03). All versions of Outlook are 2003. Since the upgrade, no one is able to view free/busy information in Outlook. During setup I made sure to enable public folder for Outlook 2003 support. Setup did create, on its own, a public folder database that I can see in the Management Console. Despite all of that, no free/busy info is viewable in Outlook 2003.

For grins, I installed Outlook 2007 on my desktop and voila - free busy info. Also, Web Access on the 07 server does display free/busy info.

Warning - using the accepted solution while may work, may only be required if you delete the old Exch 2003 admin group. Don't do it unless you must as it causes an unbelievable amount of headaches.

The legacy DN is cached in the autocomplete(emails to that fail), emails previously sent(fails if replied to) and Outlook profile(needs to be re-setup or registry hacked). I tested this before finding the solutions below and it caused a great deal of headaches(Blackberrys, among others listed) - it's far easier to upgrade to Outlook 2007 if nothing else works.

Other causes of this problem are as follows(both of these fixed my problem without the LegacyDB change):

1) No replicas available for the Schedule+ Folders(check for multiple ones) - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/945602

2) Make sure the default public folder for each Exch 2007 mailbox store is set to a Exch 2007 public folder and not the Exch 2003 public folder. This sound simple but it's easy to miss.
