I got this same error, and I noticed an Exchange 2007 patch came out within the last week, I'm thinking the patch did something. I haven't found the fix for mine yet though.

I am baffled why it would just stop working like this. The server went down for an unknown reason (maybe power outage) Wednesday at 2:00AM. Don't know if this could have corrupted something.

I was not able to get mine working with Rollup 2 installed, however removing rollup 2 did work. Be aware, there are known issues with Rollup 2 that may require your intervention to resolve. During the install/uninstall of Rollup 2 all Exchange related services, and IIS Admin & WWW are all set to disabled. In some circumstances they will not go back to automatic after the install/uninstall completes (as was my case) and you will need to manually switch them back to automatic and start them. It sounds like a .js file may be corrupted, or maybe even the logon.aspx file. First, have a look at the page source (from the IE View menu), and see what line 7 looks like.
