Public Folder Tasks Send Notification

I know I've done this before...

Currently there is a Public Folder for tasks...
how can it be set that whenever someone posts a new tasks in this folder it'll send out a notification to specific users to go look and see what's been posted?

I know Folder Assistant could do something but dont know whether it would work for posts, since they aren't actually being SENT to this folder only being posted....

All messages in public folders are posted not being sent.

The folder assistant replies will work for what you need to do. Just make sure whatever account you're configuring the rule with has owner, and send as, permissions...

I guess, rethinking that, you'd probably have to just set the rule to forward a copy of the post to the necessary users. I don't think you can fire off a template that states 'go check tasks public folder'.

I believe you can only use templates to reply to sender/poster.

In the end though - the necessary people would get the message!

So how exactly would that work?

Just ck the box for forward a copy to such and such?

I'm not setting in front of the server so I can't visualize.
If it forwards, it's just forwarding basically as an email not as a task? correct?
it won't erase the tasks from the public folder?
