asked on

http://server/certsrv gives page cannot be displayed

I installed cert services on Exchange 2003 on windows 2003 box and configured a certificate. Then, I was asked to configure another certificate (with a different common name) for owa.

Hence, I uninstalled the Cert Services, restarted the server and installed cert Services again. Then, I requested a new certificate for the default website. But, when I open http://server/certsrv, it says to use https and when I use https, it says page cannot be displayed.

Pls help.

I would say if it's a new one then reinstall the Certificate Auth. service and make sure to install the web component.

detailed steps? http://www.petri.co.il/install_windows_server_2003_ca.htm

he actually had it on the box, unintalled it and then reinstalled
Yes that's why I mean, I just post this link as it has a step by step installation steps, the only point that if it has any issued certificate it should be backed up other wise it will be lost and then a new once should be issued.

in a local server this never was a problem.
