I send emails via exchange using SMTP to BT's smart host (mail.btconnect.com), and this works fine.
I then wanted to use SEND AS for a second domainname I have on the same server, and this was set up according to other questions on EE. However, these were returned with an error code 550.
Searching EE, I then found that this is because ISP's won't forward emails from domains they don't recognise, and I needed to insert the username and password for the email account in the Outbound Security page on the SMTP connector on the server.
When do that, no emails are sent at all.
I have checked with BT, and they say the username and password I'm using is correct, and that their relay service is enabled on my account.
Any ideas gratefully received.
