EXCHANGE Information Stores fail to open after restore (Diaster Recovery)

I have an EXCHANGE 2000 server which I had to rebuild due to a lost array configuration. The server has been rebuilt from backup tapes. I am including the eventlog showing the errors for one of the stores/public folder; all the other stores are the same at the end of this post. I can start Exchange System Manager if that helps.

It seems to say that I am missing a log file  E01.log. Is there a way I can bypass this? I have restored all log files but they start at like E010BA8B.  How can I get exchange to use this as the first log file???

It isn't as simple as renaming the files is it?  What is the correct action to take from this point?

Thanks in Advance

are you perfoming a hard recovery?
I restore using NTBACKUP and have set the "Last Backup Set" option on. I believe that this is a Hard recovery.
My backups comprise of full backups of each storage group, hence four backups. I run the restores individually for each restore with the "Last Backup set" option checked.  Is this wrong?? Should I only set this option for the last Storage Group I wish to restore??

I found the problem.
It was that there were old log files that the recovery was trying to use. As I do full backups these logs were not required and should have been deleted.
The command to use to verify this are eseutil /ml   , eseutil /mh. I could then run the recovery using eseutil /cc.  There was no need for setting the "last set" during the NTBACKUP restore.
Please close this call and add it to the history. Others may fine th esolution benifical.
Allocate half points to Network Data Support for there assistance. There link to http://www.computerperformance.co.uk/exchange2003/exchange2003_eseutil.htm was very helpful.
It provided assistance to enable me to overcome part of my problem
