Help with Outlook spam and Exchange IMF

Hi all,

More Spam related questioning regarding Exchange and Outlook.

Long story short, our Exchange Server is bludgeoned with Spam email. IMF is helping a lot, but I need some help attempting to possibly filter out certain emails that come from certain machines.
Our users sometimes work from home, where they access email via the OWA. When they are in the office they have the Junk Mail Filter enabled with their local OL clients, what I would like to do is create a standard white list for Outlook that I can somehow implement to be installed to each domain client as part of a policy that activates when they logon to the domain.

Has anyone done this before or know of a way to achieve this?

Ive never edited a white list for Outlook before, so I dont know if it is even possible? As much explanation would be greatly appreciated.
The other thing is that as mentioned above, a lot of our users access their email via OWA, is it at all possible for the Junk Mail Filter to work via this method as well? Or is it possible to add the same universal white list so that IMF on Exchange looks at the same list?
It would be great for me to keep one universal massive list of all accepted email addresses and domains and simply let the IMF handle the rest based on the score of each email.

Many thanks in advance.

I got a script which will allow emails based on a whitelist of Senders. It will scan the IMF archive directory at a regular interval (scheduled task), and resubmit the emails from the emails of whitelisted senders. Instead of creating a whitelist of recipients, it works better and the whitelist is also smaller.
It will not scan all the emails again and again, the scanned emails will be moved to folders named with week numbers.
1. You have to modify the script for your environment.
2. You should have specific service account to run the scheduled task.

we got this script from the web only, but it was not for this purpose.  Our team modified it to work with IMF.
i'm sorry I forgot the link. Search in the web. If you don't get it, i will send you the same.

i forgot to post the link for the "filter recipients who are not in directory"

Tested the solution, and it is VERY easy to setup, i would recommend you have a look in to that solution.
Thanks Dave, I'm just implimenting the REG changes detailed on that Microsoft page you posted.

Would you reccomend getting the hotfix from Microsoft of performing the REG changes? (if they do the same thing?)

if that doesn't work out and you've got $250 to burn, this program lets you do whitelists and more for IMF.

from searchexchange.com

and the vendor site:

good luck
I thought the script looked familiar.

Veera1675 - I have deleted your post. Please do NOT attempt to pass off the work of another as your own.

Exchange Server Zone Advisor.
Sambee and others,

I am sorry for this post. I took this script long back (as i mentioned in my first post i forgot the site) and got confused with some other script which we customized for our requirement.

I will make sure this will not happen again.

Once again, I am sorry.
