The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

Thank you!

Advanced Queue Failed To Deliver Message

Asked by aSchoeggl in Exchange Email Server

Tags: queue, advanced, message, failed, deliver

Hi - once more another situation where an email was sent to us, but not delivered. I was able to find the message in the tracking center for Exchange 2003, and when opened I saw that the email didn't get delivered to the recipient.
It says
SMTP:  Message Submitted to Advanced Queuing
SMTP: Started Message Submission to Advanced Queuing
SMTP: Advanced Queue Failed to Deliver Message

The ID is "1026-Advanced Queuing could not process the message. The message will be NDRed or put into badmai"l but all my 3(?) badmail folders on the machine are empty.
C:\Inetpub\mailroot\Badmail
C:\Programme\GFI\MailEssentials\ListServ\BadMail
D:\Programme\Exchsrvr\Mailroot\vsi 1\BadMail

its a windows 2003R2 based exchange 2003 SP2 with GFI mail essentials 12.0 and mail security 10.0
i am also in contact with GFI to solve this - but its already the 3rd try to fix it - over the last 2-4 months a few people (2-3)  that sent an email to us and didnt get a reply, cared much enough to tell us about - otherwise we would never found out about that. there is no NDR, no quarantaine, no eventlogerror nothing.

i did try the search function at this site - but those familioar posts could not help me at all.
sadly one of the mails we missed was and request for an offer for a very big valueable project our company lost because of that bug - so my bosses are "not amused"
