The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. Mailboxes and E-mail addresses not showing

HI All,

I have two Exchange 2003 SP2 on win2k3 servers in a active / passive cluster.

The cluster has to be rebuilt recently due to a hardware problem and all was working fine running on a temporary server and we have now moved back to the cluster environment. All is well e-mail is flowing in and out fine and users can login etc. The problem that I have is when I go to create a new user in AD on the active node the user creates but it does not create the mailbox in the informaiton store in system manager also viewing the E-Mail address tab in AD for the new user there are no e-mail addresses when there should be a primary and a secondary. If I go to Exchange Tasks for the user I get the option to move / delete the mailbox.

I have applied the recipient policy and selected the recipient update service to update but to no avail.

Any thoughts on what I need to do to get the mailboxes created and apply the e-mail policy to new users?
