Creating New Outlook Exchange Profile

I'm attempting to setup a new Outlook profile to link up to my exchange server.

I also am connecting over a VPN connection.

I can't get past the screen where my mailbox name is verified.

I get an error that Outlook must be connected or online to complete the operation.
