The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. Cannot Receive Email From comcast.net email accounts

Hello-

The company I work for began hosting it's own email using Exchange 2003 about 2 months ago.
Since that time, I've began to get complaints from 2 of our customers who use comcast.net complaining that we were not responding to email requests.

I've come to find that we are simply unable to recieve email from comcast.net.  However, we can send to them just fine.  There are no error messages, or bounce backs when a comcast user emails my email server. The mail sent to email addresses within my company never show up

I was on the phone with them all afternoon yesterday, and this morning and have a ticket open with tier 2 support.  They are adamant that this is my problem and not theirs.  

I have asked them to do this, which they say they are incapeable of doing.

******Get them to do "clear cache" their DNS server, then get them to send you an email so that their DNS server will query the internet DNS hyrachy for the correct smtp address plus its internet ip address.

I have no spam filter on Exchange Currently
Junk Email is monitored
Not seeing anything in my log files
I've set up a comcast account using Oulook using Ports 587 and 465 ssl, can send without error, but still never recieve.
I'm having no problem with any other email addresses other thank comcast

Please help!
