The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. which would be the idle setup to place CAS role

Hello Everyone,

We are planning to move to Exchange 2007 from Exchange 2003.

Here is the brief of our setup:
1. We have our exchange servers in 3 different locations (WAN).
2. All the 3 location have clustered setup for mailboxes and a BH server.
3. We have seperate servers in NLB for OWA as well as SMTP gateway.
4. Seperate servers for Public Folders.

Now My plan is to have the setup as below:
1. Three Clustered (CCR) Mailbox roles for 3 different locations.
2. Replace the BH server with HT servers.
3. Current FE server will be replaced by Edge Transport server.
4. Seperate servers for Public folders with SCC.

Now my question is where can I place the CAS server?
There are 2 concerns:
1. Number of OWA and OMA users are very very less.
2. cost constaint.

Any suggestion would be appricated.
