recieving error on exchange 2003

has anyone ever seen this error before?

Information Store (3676) First Storage Group: A request to read from the file "D:\Exchsrvr\MDBDATA\DB3.edb" at offset 26848899072 (0x000000064051b000) for 4096 (0x00001000) bytes succeeded, but took an abnormally long time (178 seconds) to be serviced by the OS. In addition, 1 other I/O requests to this file have also taken an abnormally long time to be serviced since the last message regarding this problem was posted 12 seconds ago.
