Error when using Export-Mail CMDLET
Hello Experts:
I am using Exchange 2007 server with SP1. When I use the command Export-mailbox -id usermailbox -TargetFolder 'ExportedData' -TargetMailbox usermailbox2 and supply the correct name of the user mail box and the Target Mailbox--all goes well until the last step and I get the following message:
Error occurred in the step: Creating target
folder in the target mailbox. An unknown err
or has occurred.
Could someone tell me what I am doing wrong?

what perms do you have on the source and target?

I have both Source and Target set with full access.

Also, while viewing the exchange log it is returning error code: -2147221233 along with Error occurred in the step: Creating target folder in the target mailbox. An unknown err

To run the Export-Mailbox cmdlet, the account you use must be delegated the following:
Exchange Server Administrator role and local Administrators group for the target server
Full access to the source and target mailboxes
do you have the correct server perms?

Hello ATIG.
I am logging on as Adminstrator to the mail server. I don't recall having this problem--until I applied service pack 1. I checked the Administrators rights and it is part of the Exchange Organizations Admistrators and Domain Admins, Domain Users, Enterprise Admin.

Hello ATIG.
Here is an update, it must be something that Service Pack 1 did to the system. I run Exchange 2007 at all three of my companies. The other two doesn't have the Service Pack 1 applied yet and I can export the mail at the other two companies with no issues. Now to figure out why it doesn't work here at the coporate office.

it works with SP1 cause I can do it on my systems.... let me see what I can did up.
