Moving database

Asked by Joeteck in Exchange Email Server

Tags: Microsoft, exchange, 2003

I just installed Exchange 2003 on a test server. If you have been following my questions throughout the day, you see that I'm trying to do a roll out of a new server.

I know very little about it, and really can't wait to get my hands wet. lol

My question is, once it is installed, how does one move the database onto another drive? I do not want it to change it from the default drive C: as that is where it wanted to do the install. I did not want to change anything yet.

With Exchange 5.5, you can run the wizard to have the system check for available drives.

Is this an easy task?

Thanks.
