2 separate exchanges failover to each one

Hello experts. i want to have one help. Actually i do have 2 separate networks , 2 separate domains  separate AD and exchange BE and FE. Both network have vpn to each other and have trust etc.

what i want is, want to have failover (redundancy) between 2 exchanges. For example if  one site connection will down the second site will receive and keep emails and will deliver when first one will online.

As i understand i can add MX records on ISP DNS and give a backup priority (point to each one). But i dont know how to configure exchange for temporary storage of  emails for another domain.

example mail.domain1.com to mail.domain2.com's exchange server and vice versa.  or any other way i can do this? I know abt.dyndns.org hop mail solution but its possible to get using exchanges?. I'm not good expert on exchange  so please be more clear. (like a tutorial hehe)Start Free Trial
