Ive installed and configured Exchange 2007 SP1 in a network that has Exchange 2003 on a different server:
- set up a test domain (lets say MyTest.com) as Accepted Domains in Organization Configuration | Hub Transport
- checked Anonymous Users under Server Configuration | Hub Transports | Default Receive Connector | Permission Groups
- installed recipient filtering
- created a mailbox called Test1
If I send emails from different domains to test1@MyTest.com, this is what happens:
- all emails sent from my Google account work well
- emails from my Yahoo account are delayed 1-5 hours, but I test1@MyTest.com will receive them
- emails from a particular domain are instantly rejected with this error message: 550 5.1.1 <test1@MyTest.com>... User unknown
- the email server from my work tries to send them to test1@MyTest.com for 2 days and then it give up
All emails above work perfectly with other servers.
All outgoing emails from test1@MyTest.com work fine.
What did I miss on my new Exchange 2007 installation?
