Setting up OMA,

i am trying to setup OMA for my exchange server, OWA is working perfectly fine and it is using SSL. to access OWA my users go to https://mail.domain.com. i have enabled OMA in my exchange system manager (global settings-> mobile services-> properties  and enable OMA as well as unsupported devices).

when i test to see if OMA is working by going to https://servername/oma it brings up a screen to sign in.
when i type in the my username and password it comes up with an error saying "my mailbox could not be accessed. access has been denied check with your administrator"

i checked my account in active directory to make sure it was enabled for OMA and it was. and this is happening with every user.
 anyways i setup a test exchange server machine with W2K Server OS and Exchange server 2003 but it was not using SSL for the OWA nor OMA. and i was able to access the OWA and OMA on the test box. i used http://servername/oma and http://servername/exchange on the test box and that worked fine.

please if you give me the step by step on how to resolve this that would be great.
