No. What I mean is this. When someone creates an appt. on a public calendar, and includes herself as one of the invitees, if the reminder is on on the appt, it is set on her calendar when she accepts; if the reminder is off, it is set as off on her calendar when she accepts. This happens regardless of what her personal settings are for defaulting to ON reminder. Therefore, so that she doesn't have to click the Reminder box on the appointment every time creating one in order to have it apply a reminder to HER calendar, she wants the default when she is in the public calendar and clicks New Appt. to have the reminder box checked.
