I have a couple of users experiencing behavior that I thought was cleared up with the installation of the DST patch, and I have the following questions. (note, I am the new sysadmin here, and I have been informed by other staff members that the patch was applied last year)
1. Is there a way to tell (without reapplying the patch) if the patch truly has been applied? 2. Was the patch included with Exchange 2003 SP2 (if so, question #1 is answered, as we do have SP2 installed)? 3. It is my understanding that there is/was also something that needed to be run/installed on all of the clients. If that is the case, and I have confirmed the patch is there, should I run it on the clients, even though some of the people having issues are new (within 6 months) users here? Where do I get it? 4. Would it be worth my time to install the DST patch on the exchange server again?
Here is specifically what is happening: - a user opens up an existing appointment, and reschedules it for sometime in the future, when he saves it, all the invitees get the appointment on their schedule for the exact time as the scheduler + 1 hour.
