Store Size MUCH larger than Sys Manager reported Mailbox sizes

-Adding up all mailbox sizes in System Manager is roughly 9.5GB
-Store EDB file is at 6.7GB, STM file is at 10GB
-I'm seeing ESE event ID 445's starting at 8:50am this morning - store over limit

-Last night's online defrag showed 1.3 GB free space
-Approximate file sizes at the time of the online defrag were EDB 6.7GB STM 6.2GB
-Transaction logs since the time of the online defrag = 302 = roughly 1.6GB
-No mailbox sizes have increased drastically
-EDB file size has not grown, only the STM file has jumped about 4GB
-STM size has not grown at all over the last few hours

My first step after hours today is to archive as much as I can to PST's and run an offline defrag, but I suspect something I'm unaware of is using all this extra space.

How can I determine how this seemingly extra storage space is being used and recover it.?Start Free Trial
