Exchange OWA not working on HTTPS port 443
Zones: Exchange Email Server, Palm OS Handheld Operating System

Hey experts,
I am the new tech guy at a company and for some reason there OWA is not running on PORT443.  I installed exchange sp2 and there SBS server 2003 also has sp2.  When i am on the server and do https://localhost/exchange i recieve a page can not be displayed. but if i use the http://localhost/exchange it works correctly.  This would not be an issue except they have a user with a new palm treo and it connects to exchange through owa 443.  I have checked all settings on firewall and port 80 and 443 are forwarded to the exchange server.

Any help with figuring out why the secure does not work woudl be great.

In IIS, go into the site, and make sure SSL and enabled and selected for port 443.

They have an SBS 2003 server you say?  Then you need to Run the Configure E-mail and Internet Connection Wizard and enable the secure site and external site access.  This wizard will create the Certificate and setup OMA and OWA for you.  Do not try to do it manually or you run the risk of breaking the Server and not being able to use the Server Management.
