Standby Continuous Replication (SCR)

Asked by randy915 in Exchange Email Server

I've read several articles including Exchange Genie's (http://exchange-genie.blogspot.com/2007/08/scr-standby-continuous-replication.html) and even watched the Scot Schnoll's video series but I still have several questions:

1. They all mention about creating a new storage group (SG1) and new mailbox database (SG1/MBX1).  Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't this just an empty mailbox in an empty storage group?  If so, shouldn't I be setting my source server to my First Storage Group's mailbox instead?

2. Related to the first question: if I have SCR source set to First Storage Group's mailbox which also has LCR enabled, are there any extra steps or commands I need to run?Start Free Trial
