I'm trying to set up OWA, so that our users can be prompted to change their passwords. So far I have enabled the Options > password changing and that works, however if I reset the password, and set "user must change password at next logon, they are prompted to change the password, but then get an SSL error when the click submit.

If you are telling them change their password at next login via Active Directory, that means before they can access OWA successfully, they must first login to the DOMAIN, and change their password. Then they can log on to OWA with that password without getting the error.
