This is driving me crazy. We just installed Exchange 2007 SP1. I have one mailbox server and two CAS servers. I have about 6 users on the Exchange 2007 server. There is a mix of Outlook 2007 and Outlook 2003. My mailbox is also on Exchange 2007 and I have Outlook 2007 with latest updates and SP's. I am having an issue seeing free/busy for one particular user. All I get is lines. An Outlook 2003 client on both Exchange 2007 and 2003 is fine. Now I know 2003 is using Public Folder for free/busy and my client is using web services but why just this one mailbox. How does the web services on the CAS server get free/busy information for this user. Does it sync with Public Folders or does it try to access the Calendar directly. I thought the later was only true if both mailboxes were on Exchange 2007. The user I am having issues with is on a 2003 server. So far, only Outlook 2007 clients with a mailbox on the Exchange 2007 server are the only ones having issues with this one particular user.
One thing I would like to add. For this problem mailbox, I can open the Calendar and view it within my Outlook client with no problems so I know permissions are not an issue.
