Browse All TopicsIn Exchange Server 2003 there was an option in the Default SMTP virtual server that you could set for the following:
"forward all mail with unresolved recipients to host"
I now have a client setup on Exchange 2007 and I cannot find a similar option.
Here is what I need to accomplish. My client has only a few users so they host their email with an ISP for virus protection and SPAM filtering. There is a third party program that goes out to the ISP and download the POP email directly into exchange. They are all using the same domain (mydomain.com)
This works great except for one problem. we have a person who is not on the network who needs email for that domain. I have set them up on the ISP with their email address (user@mydomain.com). They can log into the ISP webmail fine and send and recieve emails from everyone BUT the users on the network.
Exchange 2007 is blocking the users on the network from sending email to the one user who is not on the network.
Can anyone help me with this?

I find it strange that Exchange would block one user only. What is the error message?
Add that user to your AD domain and give him/her an email address on your IP domain
