Exchange SMTP Questions

Asked by DustinR1 in Exchange Email Server

I am getting some SMTP errors in event viewer. I checked my authntication on SMTP and I have all three checked, ("Anonymous access, Basic authentication, and integrated windows authentication) On the Grant Users button I have Authenticated users and checked for both. Is this correct? Why would I have allow anonymous access checked???Start Free Trial

Event Type:	Error
Event Source:	MSExchangeTransport
Event Category:	SMTP Protocol
Event ID:	7004
Date: 4/24/2008
Time: 10:32:24 AM
User: N/A
Computer:	MOJOSERVER
Description:
This is an SMTP protocol error log for virtual server ID 1, connection #26. The remote host "128.252.177.191", responded to the SMTP command "rcpt" with "550 Unrouteable address ". The full command sent was "RCPT TO:<oil@repec.org> ". This will probably cause the connection to fail.
