public folder favorites disappear

We have a few public folders in the office, and people setup favorites so that within the various views they can see the public folder, rather than having to drill into the folder view to find them. In Outlook 2007 (with Exchange server) the favorites keep disappearing and have to be recreated. Any suggestions?
