Automatically Dump or Update Contacts to Exchange Public Folder

I would like to know if there are any methods or pre-written scripts to take a CSV or other common exported data file and automatically (or at least programatically) update a public folder of contacts in Exchange.

Here's my scenario:  I administer a network for a church and we use Exchange 2003. We also use separate management software that keeps track of member data and has less than convenient features to quickly look up someones info to call or email.  I would like to take that info and put it in an Exchange public folder of contacts so the users can easily look up someone without having to open the management software.

Our management software can export the directory in a wide variety of formats, including CSV.  Assuming I can generate the CSV file daily, is there any way to automatically update the public folder with that exported address data?

I could probably do this in Outlook manually, but that will not get me automation.  I need to be able to update the public folder daily using a scheduled script or other method.Start Free Trial
