That isn't correct.
I'm currently using a certificate generated on (via IIS), and exported from a different server (not running Exchange 2007), to secure webmail etc with the Exch 2007 server they have migrated to.
It works fine for webmail, activesync etc, which is what this thread asked for.
But, since I'm always interested in learning new stuff (and it will probably be interesting for anyone reading this thread):
What would be the limitations on a "standard SSL" certificate like I'm using (with a CSR from IIS), compared with one generated with a CSR from the Exchange Management Shell?

Do you mean the Certificate Signing Request which you will then use to request a certificate from a commercial provider (VeriSign or similar)?
