Hello,
Our Exchange server was originally going to host 3 domains, for example abc.com, xyz.com and 123.com. Our main users (about 25) from our office were going to be using the abc.com domain (ie john.doe@abc.com). And about 5 users (from different areas) were going to be assigned to the remaining domains. But now, we are not going to be using the other two domains so we only need abc.com to be on our Exchange. Problem is, the person who installed/set up our Exchange, assigned the xyz.com domain as our default. So whenever I add a user to AD, their default address shows up as john.doe@xyz.com. I have to go in and change it to abc.com (it shows all three SMTP addresses abc, xyz and 123). I would like to remove all instances of xyz and 123 from Exchange. Even when a message is returned because it was sent to an incorrect e-mail address, it comes back from postmaster@xyz.com, even though I have the Administrator's e-mail account set as @abc.
Is this possible to do without interrupting anyone's e-mail?
Please help. Thank you!
