If you deliver mail from an Exchange mailbox to a PST file, it will remove the mail from the server.I would not recommend that since then your mail will have a greater chance of being lost.
There have been a few problems, but you could also add your home pop account to the same profile as your Exchange account, leave your exchange account delivering to your mailbox, have your pop account deliver to the pst and open your pop accounts pst, so that you have your mailbox and your "Personal Folder" open at the same time.

Set up 2 Profiles: Work and Home configure them and point to the same PST File.
Create 2 shotcuts to outlook.exe with parameter "/profile Work" (and second with "/profile Home")
without quotes.
do not start both profiles at the same time
