Shell command for number of emails in a mailbox

Asked by mihaisz in Exchange Email Server, Shell Scripting

Tags: Microsoft, Exchange, 2007, SP1

What is the shell command that shows how many emails were received in a mailbox between Date1 and Date 2?

Is there a way to set up a task that runs this command every x hous and writes the result to a .txt file?
