Browse All TopicsI have an Exchange 2007 box with Outlook anywhere configured. The certificate it was working before on windows server 2003 but when I migrate my exchange 2007 to windows server 2008 its not working I cannot connect my outlook 2007 to exchange server when I connect the server asked me for password but noting happen still asking me for my password
So can you please advise me to solve (Outlook Anywhere) problem?
Note : Certificates are working and there are no problems with Outlook Web Access.

Actually to explain it better Outlook 2007 has a feature in Account settings - More settings - Connection - Outlook anywhere Cehck Box (connect to micrsoft Exchange ussing HTTP) if you choose this feature you can send and retrieve ur email with exchange without VPN connection to the Company .
this setting was working before windows 2008 server on windows 2003 server with exchange 2007 and outlook 2007 with all settings the same !!!

Have you isntalled the RPC over HTTP proxy into server 2008?
ServerManagerCmd -i RPC-over-HTTP-proxy

to sum it up, server 08 / vista give priority to ipv6 addresses, so ipv6 needs to be disabled for outlook anywhere to work on an ipv4 ip.
