I have Exchange 2007 SP1 installed on a Windows 2003 SP2 64 bit machine. This machine is just a domain member. This is a typical installation of Exchange and there is no edge transport server, this is sending and recieving e-mail directly. I have had a problem twice in the last week where I my mail server's Mapi Deliver Queue starts to get back logged and Outlook clients can't send or receive e-mails.
I checked in the error log and what starts this problem is an Event ID 4999, Source MSExchange Common, Details: Watson report about to be sent to dw20.exe for process id: 2188,
with parameters: E12N, c-rtl-AMD64, 08.01.0278.002, store.exe,
ntdll.dll, 365a8, c0000005, 5b74, 5.2.3790.3959
(srv03_sp2_rtm.070216-1710
). ErrorReportingEnabled: False
I have to restart the machine for the queue to deliver the messages. I am getting an uneasy feeling abou this and would really like to figure this issue out. If you have an ideas or need more info, please e-mail me.
