Mailbox Manager won't stop

When I rigth click on my exchaneg server in ESM it I have the option to stop mailbox managment. When I select that it locks up the MMC and never stops the management. I had scheduled the manager to run last night from 9 until 4 (which means it runs repeatedly until 4 sending out a messages everytime just FYI), and it looks like the last time it ran it has nto stopped yet.
