I am trying to install Exchange 2007 on Win 2008 Server Standard Edition (ExchangeServer - 64 bit, not DC). I have my DC on Windows 2003 Server Standard Edition (Mainserver, 32-bit). In the past there was an attempt to install Exchange 2003 on ExchangeServer however the software was not used and then uninstalled. Right now I would like to utilise ExchangeServer for Exchange 2007. When I install it, I get a message: The Exchange organization is not in native mode. I have raised DFL to Windows 2003 but it still comes up with the same message. I am concerned that old installation of Exchange 2003 left over some entries in AD. I do not know how to resolve the issue. I have gone through some answers on EE but none of them would help me much.
