cant install symantec mail security for exchange

hi

on our main domain server running windows server 2000 we have microsoft exchange 2000 installed.
we currently have symantec mail security for microsoft exchange installed on the same server but only have version 4.5, i have version 6 to install but when i try to install it end with saying

the wizard was interrupted before symantec mail security for microsoft exchange could be completely installed

any ideas??
