Outlook 2007 and Autodiscover Exchange 2007

Asked by nces in Exchange Email Server, Outlook Groupware Software

Tags: , , ,

I just installed Exchange 2007 on a Windows Server 2007 R2 64 Bit. Our workstations consist of Windows XP Professional with SVCPK 3 and all the latest updates. When running Outlook 2007, the autodiscover appears to work when configuring outlook since the computer says sucessfull configuration.

My first question is there a way to disable the security certificate question? Right now I just click yes to trust the site and outlook appears opens ok. The issue I am having is nothing works when in outlook. When I click, New, nothing happens and I receive the following message "A dialog box is open. Close it and try again".  Well there is no dialog box open and when I try to exit Outlook, it won't let me. Any ideas would be apprecaited as I have been racking my brain on this and I am no expert with Exchange 2007.Start Free Trial
