Fublic Folder on Exchange Server 2003.

Please help me some public folder doubts.
How would you plan and configure Public Folder redundancy?
How can you immediately stop PF replication?
How can you prevent PF referral across slow WAN links?

in exchange 2003 SP2 there is an option to stop PF content replication
