How to manage user in GAL & Security Group

I added a user to several security groups. Now he is listed in the GAL under those groups. I always thought that only distribution groups were added to the GAL. Is this configured improperly? Also, How can I manage this user? For now I have hid him from the GAL entirely but that obviously does not solve the problem. I should mention that this is an inherited Exchange server so who knows how it was originally configured.Start Free Trial
