Exchange 2003 DB Corrupt

I have an Exchange 2003 STD Server , that did not mount the STORE after a restart. When you select to mount the store , it gives a message that the db is corrupted... . I've used eseutil to repair and defrag the priv1.edb file, but still are not able to mount the store...it keeps on saying that the DB is corrupt...

Please help...this is urgent

when did you get your last full backup??

you could restore the database from the last backup and replay the transaction logs back in.

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/824126  should give you  the info you need..

Did you also run an isinteg?

Well i am busy with the following.
Copy the DB to a different location (backup)
Stop all exchange services
Delette the E00 files in the mdbdata folder
Starting the Exchange services
Mount Store
Do a integrity check on the old DB ( the one in the backup folder) on the priv1 and pub1 edb files
when this is doen i will enable the ovewite option on the new db and copy the files back to the db location....hopefully this will work
