Multiple email addresses in Outlook

Hi Experts,

One of our clients has multiple email aliases which are running within exchange.

On the clients workstations they use Microsoft Outlook and they want to be able to send emails from different aliases without having to change the default SMTP in Active Directory.

Is there any software which you can recommend they can use to do this it also needs to be easy to use?

Thanks,

* You cannot make use of different email alias in one User object in order to send out emails exclusively using each one of them.
* You'll need to create another account for those users in AD and set the other email address as the primary SMTP address.
* You cant get this done with just one AD mailbox.
* 2 or more than 2 SMTP email addresses for one AD object only work to receive emails sent to all of those email addresses however only the Primary SMTP address will be used when you reply or send a new email address from that AD accounts mailbox.
* You'll need to use the 'From' field to have them send it from 2 different email addresses.
* Else, you could instead create a DL having the other email address and that DL should be specific to a user and assign that user 'Send As' permissions on that DL in order to use it to send any email using that email address. User will have to make use of the 'From' field in Outlook.
* I think creating another user object would be better other than creating another DL.

Ensure that they have full access rights in exchange to the mailboxes and also ensure that the user has security rights to send as for each of those accounts Under the security tab.

Next just use the from: field in outlook to send the message as that person.

Should do the trick.
