MSExchange System Attendant Mailbox Event ID 4001
We've been running exchange server 2007 since February and just started having this problem this week. When anyone tries to log in to exchange, we cannot connect... Upon checking the event log, I see the following:
Event ID: 4001 Source: MSExchange System Attendant Mailbox
A transient failure has occurred. The problem may resolve itself in awhile. The service will retry in 56 seconds. Diagnostic information: Could not find any available Domain Controller.
Stopping and restarting the store fixes it for a while, but it happens again every couple of days. I've done some research and see that some have had this problem upon install and corrected the problem by disabling the checksum offload options on the servers NIC. I haven't done this yet, but would like to know why this has started on a server that has been running for 9 months.
Thanks
Randy
